Woodrow Wilson Vs. Women's Suffrage!!

Alice Paul formulated a new way to get the attention of President Wilson. Her picketers appeared at the White House gates. Their banners read, "Mr. President, how long must we wait for liberty?" By picketing the women were telling the president to either give us what we want or remove us. At first Wilson was cordial to the women, but after a confrontation Wilson began having the women arrested.
