The National Women's Party, founded in 1916,  was all about actions and not words. They demanded the government give them the right to vote. They used militant tactics to make their voices heard. These fearless women used multiple tactics to fight for their place in the political arena. Women were fed up with being treated as secondary citizens. The party successively galvanized women to demonstrate, stand up, voice their opinion and demand equal rights. The party used loud tactics to make themselves heard by the press and the government.

"There will never be a new world order until women are a part of it."

The quote was delivered by Alice Paul , who was the founder of the National Women's Party.

These women put their lives on the line to redefine the role of women in today's society.
